they say marriage is like taking a bath; not so hot once you get used to it.
No, I have gone long periods without a TV, and missed out on Friends.Don't know Joey from Friends?!?
No, I have never watched Episodes, nor heard of it.No, I have gone long periods without a TV, and missed out on Friends.
Now that you mention him I do know Matt LeBlanc from Episodes (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1582350/), he plays himself or hopefully a parody of himself. He talks about Friends a lot, but Jennifer Aniston never takes his calls... I liked Episodes, but nothing chaste about Matt there.
Episodes was hilarious, if you don't mind an R rating. No, I have never watched Episodes, nor heard of it.
I guess we truly ARE even!
Yeah, it is R, but a kind of soft R...Episodes was hilarious, if you don't mind an R rating.
Well one of the 2 people in that scenario will outlive the other so the result is the same. Plus it’s usually the woman that survives.Until you need taking care of? I guess you can pay people for that. I wouldn't want to die alone.
I think you are right based on historical data. But, as social norms change and women are striving for 'equality', they are closing the gap of longevityWell one of the 2 people in that scenario will outlive the other so the result is the same. Plus it’s usually the woman that survives.
Try courting and wooing, never take him/her for granted, always pay attention to your hygiene and, as you will find, the water always stays hot!they say marriage is like taking a bath; not so hot once you get used to it.
I wouldn't like that.Real estate corps would probably find numbers of customers in this current era if they offered shared living housing that provided secure bedroom, workspace, isolation from shared kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry room, parking etc. That way people could gradually learn to live with prospective mates. Also would be a way for semi shared living of say relatives or friends that don't yet trust others or their friends.

Did you ever realize it was the girl that despoiled the guy”s reputation and the girl that caused the need for the shot gun wedding? Most girls are not purer than driven snow.Do you remember something called a "shot gun wedding", when the guy maybe needed a bit of persuasion to head up the aisle, having despoiled some girls reputation?

Absolutely true. Living together or married, and being financially independent are separate issues.I have a buddy who won't marry the lady who is taking care of his failing physical and mental faculties day and night. As his nurse and lover they've lived together for many years. Sadly he has two daughters who will throw her to the street the day he dies and he has done nothing to protect her from this scenario. So people, beware, there is a reason for the legal institution of marriage.
