Mass Shooting in FL at Madden Video Game Tournament

I think what you saw was a football video game where the shooting took place/
Oh wait- there was one person killed at a football game Fri. night! Geeze.


I counted 14 shots I think...

 

Is it just me? Or have others noticed that this one is not getting the same amount of press as the others have? Either we [WTP & the press] are becoming jaded to such things or.......They have finally figured out that many of these crazy's are just starved for attention , and they [the press] are removing it ?

Yes I know this crazy killed himself [a good thing] but so many of the others have achieved almost cult status / following [in some circles]. And I for one sometimes think that is what the "would-be's" are seeking.........jmo
 
It would be great if the press is dumbing down all the flash and hype some of these crazies seem to be seeking. It could also be the death of John McCain grabbing a lot of coverage.
 
Why do ANY of the players need to pack a gun to play video games. Is it such a dreadful neighborhood that they feel they may have to defend themselves going to a from the game? I suppose that without the presence of a weapon, they'd have had to slug it out as was done a few years ago. A black eye and a chipped tooth seems preferable to 4 deaths and others wounded. Have we become a nation where grown men wet their pants when venturing out in public if they realize they've forgotten their gun at home.

I played a variety of sports while younger as probably many other of you did, and none of us had to "carry". Stop reading the "Armed Citizen" and relax. There's no one waiting to pop you around each corner. You'd be better off wearing a lightning rod in your beanie - -the chances of being struck by lightning is greater. :)
