Mass Tourism-Louvre Museum employee shut down.Protesters in Spain squirt water on tourists

I live next to a NASCAR race track. Thankfully, now NASCAR is not such a bid deal, and I no longer have to put up with it.. But in the 90s, it was. I had people in a Winnebago drive up and park it in my driveway.
I had cars and trucks driving on my lawn, thinking it was a short cut to get out. A bunch of young guys dropped their keg out of the back of their pickup truck. The cops found a group with a huge camp fire on the site of the major gas lines for Manhattan, NYC. Most of the crowd was well behaved, but still you couldn't leave you house ( the race is over 3 days) during the race, because of the traffic, and traffic jams could last for hours.

Agreed - that isnt the way to deal with it.

this is one of those situations where I can agree with a viewpoint (ie locals being negatively affected by over tourism) without agreeing with their method of saying so.
Ah well a good healthy balance of mixed views on that one then?? - another prob solved - Next!

Fair. I agree, but also note that squirting someone with water is a harmless protest. At worst, someone got wet. It could have been so much worse. Of they were throwing rocks at people, I'd be outraged. By squirting with water? I think we're just seeing desperate people who have had enough.

True - it was a harmless way of protesting. Just not that likely to be effective..
