The world needs more love
I couldn't be happier in the way I've chosen to life my life. Above all, be kind to others, take adventures no matter how small and love the one you're with.
What a fortunate person you are. Don't think many people could say that!I couldn't be happier in the way I've chosen to life my life. Above all, be kind to others, take adventures no matter how small and love the one you're with.
I've made more than my share of mistakes, but I've generally learned something from each of them. What a fortunate person you are. Don't think many people could say that!
Good! You deserve it!I couldn't be happier in the way I've chosen to life my life. Above all, be kind to others, take adventures no matter how small and love the one you're with.
Even were you to have married a toad, (overall I'm with you though!I couldn't be happier in the way I've chosen to life my life. Above all, be kind to others, take adventures no matter how small and love the one you're with.
"Well done"!Me as a modern Knight without Armour
Myself happy with life
I would have to hire help if life got any better
Did your wife have anything to do with the fact she's top of your list, (and would you be top of hers, above the children you've both successfully raised I wonder?)?So I said to myself..Self, you’ve done okay in your lifetime. My biggest accomplishments were:
Marrying my wife
Raising three wonderful children
Living as long as I have.
oh, and finding this forum..![]()
Sad that mere survival tips her list. I can so relate to that. Life is not easy.Did your wife have anything to do with the fact she's top of your list, (and would you be top of hers, above the children you've both successfully raised I wonder?)?
Yes, my child doing so well has to be my greatest, if not luckiest accomplishment, (sorry ex wife choosing/marrying can't come top!), but just maybe, for each of us, our greatest achievement/achievements in life, may be how we choose to live our lives and interact with a myriad of other folks!
(btw my mother would have said "survival" was the most important thing in life, above even love, though she did that too!)
I just don't know if survival is worth it, to just keep asking yourself if there were something else you could have done, to never be able to put the past behind you but act happy around other people, to go along in life helping others, but waiting for the end yourself.Sad that mere survival tips her list. Sounds like a very good recipe for happiness. Glad you're living it. I'm a pretty happy person. That wasn't always the case. It seems like the older I get, the happier I am. I also realized quite awhile ago that happiness is not static. Sometimes it's overshadowed by unhappy events or even unhappy memories that must be pushed aside.I couldn't be happier in the way I've chosen to life my life. Above all, be kind to others, take adventures no matter how small and love the one you're with.
I don’t look at it exactly that way. Dealing with chronic illness is survival for one thing, which I’ve done for a long time and there are no decisions that would have changed that. However, my beliefs are that hard times are about character building and that I will live eternally. Life on earth IS difficult. Rewards come later sometimes. Doing for others, trying to do the right things are worth it.I just don't know if survival is worth it, to just keep asking yourself if there were something else you could have done, to never be able to put the past behind you but act happy around other people, to go along in life helping others, but waiting for the end yourself.
I don't think its quite so sad as you might think, as she had a happy marriage to my dad, loved her home and where she lived generally, but she'd agree with your comment about life not being easy without a doubt!Sad that mere survival tips her list. I can so relate to that. Life is not easy.
