I genuinely like this one. The lighting is similar to my own bedroom. But I would take down the motorcycle pictures. Bedrooms should be decorated with art that promotes relaxation, not images that suggest action. I would put a framed mirror above the desk or table, or nothing at all. I would also remove the rug. Nothing wrong with it - just that I don't like throw rugs.

16 but lose the pictures and replace with brown toned bear prints. Also, replace the zigzag flooring with wide hickory planks. A wing back chair would look better and be more comfortable.

Large windows, comfortable looking king size bed. Not shown but given the way it is spacious probably walk in closets & a luxury bath room. Balcony off the bedroom where morning coffee could be enjoyed.

#15 or #16 would be OK, for just me, but my wife would never go in for any of them.

My wife and I prefer the bedroom to be very dark, most of the time we spend in there is to sleep and that's what works for us. The dark walls also have accented the art work we have.

Here is mine. Not pictured is fan running and comfortable bed and pillow. And it is also blacked out on even the sunniest days. Can’t get it this cool in the summer, but only down to 67F or so - No problem in winter though!

That one will work. I like them all, but they are all missing something.

I think #17 had some initial potential, but overall it then started to look a bit gloomy to me.

#16 looked ok, at first. But the wall? Gritstone or sandstone bricks? Looks like it might shed over time, and there is only one place for that grit to land. I like the natural light from the large window though. As for the bed, I would have to raise it. Not that I need the height, I just don't want to be so low.

#18. No. I do like a wooden floor, but not that style, and definitely not the wood on the wall behind the bed. What on earth is going on with the thickness of the mattress? And have I got to go to sleep whilst looking up at a woman with black leather boots on? Anyway, quickly moving away from that thought.

#16 seems to have a nice balance to me. I would change the pictures though. So #16 for me, or at least from those four.

I wonder if the rooms are judging me as much as I’m judging them.
