Men Desperate For Haircuts & Shaves

This talk of beards just jogged a bad memory. My cousin & I, both about 8, visited with her elderly neighbours. He was eating porridge and it was dripping onto his beard. I was actually nauseated.

It makes me wonder how big burly men with big thick beards eat pizza without eating sauce and cheese in it. 19EE6212-01D8-4360-9881-31EACEA65C4C.jpeg

I don't mind the hair and beard as long as they are clean and well kept. What annoys me though is that scruffy "almost a beard" you see so much of. DANG guy! Make a commitment one way or another!
Reminds me of Maurice Gibb. His "Scruffy" look was way more appealing to women, then the clean cut style. He shaved for the video "Night Fever" but women didn't take to it, so he went back to "scruffy"

Visually a little bit of beard is OK, but personally I really prefer clean shaven. Maybe it's a hassle to have to shave daily. I wouldn't know.

I grew a beard many years ago. It itched so bad that I shaved it off on day 3.

About 20 years later I grew a mustache. We went snorkeling and my face mask leaked. That was the end of facial hair for me.

I've had a mustache for as long as I can remember. I shaved it off one time and the kids along with Mrs. Hazy flipped out, so I grew it back. My beard comes and goes with my mood, usually I'll have one during the winter season.. 🧔
