Went grocery shopping earlier today and in one of the aisles I ran into (almost literally) a group of firefighters shopping. I’ve seen them at the store before – they always look so …….in shape, toned, etc. Easy on the eyes. I moved so they could get to something on the shelf. No problem, I enjoyed just standing there....watching. I didn't even bother to pretend I was studying my list.

One said “Excuse us, ma’am.” I said, “Oh, I’m in no hurry”. My companion (in her 20s) laughed and said “You are so bad!” :rofl1:

I’ve seen some out of shape police officers, but firefighters and state troopers are usually in shape. I remember once yrs ago when I was stopped by a trooper (for speeding) on a hot day, but he looked cool as a cucumber. Spiffy uniform, perfect creases, etc.

Well my first husband was in the Royal navy..(petty Officer)...and then became a firefighter when he left the Navy, and then after we divorced my first relationship was with a police officer...my friend said I should be called Obi wan kenobi..(may the force go with you)...

Believe it or not I am one of the very few women I know who doesn't get turned on by a man in uniform!

Years ago (1956) I was walking down Market St. in San Francisco in uniform and a sailor stopped me. He said "hi man, I see you are Coast Guard, I tried to enlist but couldn't pass the entrance tests and physical, I had to go navy!" It made me feel the hard work was worth it. My closest call ever was not at sea, or in a drug intervention, it was in a bar where what I thought was a beautiful gal was playing the jukebox and buying me drinks, when she went to the restroom, the barkeep told me she was a he. I left quickly.

Depends on the uniform, doesn't it? Garbage man vs. pilot, which one? Waiter vs janitor? Uniforms don't necessarily mean military or police. How about judge vs prison guard, any better? Postal worker vs football player? Personally uniforms don't ring my chimes, but some ladies find them very attractive.

Pickey, pickey, pickey......

"Colour me available."

For......? NO uniform, skirt, dress, shorts, etc., does it best for me! :playful: imp

Apparently I read somewhere that men don't like a woman in a military uniform, too emasculating or something.
