Men in uniform

Demi Moore looked really good in "A Few Good Men" .....but that was Demi Moore, over 20 yrs ago.

Apparently I read somewhere that men don't like a woman in a military uniform, too emasculating or something.

I particularly dislike the sudden appearance of a lady cop, usually in my rear view mirror! :( imp

Spent forty years in uniform (RAF). No complaints!

Funnily enough, my wife loved the NFL uniform, said she loved a neat rear end!

On the subject of women in uniform I once remember visiting a base in Germany and mentioning that at the nearby border crossing there was a blonde border guard with a pistol on her hip.

There was an immediate exodus of about twenty guys down to the border!

What about a nudist colony? Might calm down a lot of the lust floating around here...:eek:nthego:

...but I prefer a tux, and not on a butler either, thank you very much.
What's wrong with a tux on a butler? Oh, you mean you prefer the tux "OFF of the butler"? Now, I get it
I'll take THIS butler in a tux any day: Gerard Butler (he's from Scotland...calm down Ameriscot)

No, no, I didn start this wanton tdiscussion. Some here need a cold shower and they know who they are and so do I...

I see uniforms are only work attire. So.... if people like uniforms, it must be something about the job that they find interesting. If its a military uniform that the ladies like, then it must be something about the actual job that is interesting more than the person inside the suit.

PS. Those girlies in their ponytails, miniskirts and high heels do not look like military personnel in any way to me.

Went grocery shopping earlier today and in one of the aisles I ran into (almost literally) a group of firefighters shopping. I’ve seen them at the store before – they always look so …….in shape, toned, etc. Easy on the eyes. I moved so they could get to something on the shelf. No problem, I enjoyed just standing there....watching. I didn't even bother to pretend I was studying my list.

One said “Excuse us, ma’am.” I said, “Oh, I’m in no hurry”. My companion (in her 20s) laughed and said “You are so bad!” :rofl1:

I’ve seen some out of shape police officers, but firefighters and state troopers are usually in shape. I remember once yrs ago when I was stopped by a trooper (for speeding) on a hot day, but he looked cool as a cucumber. Spiffy uniform, perfect creases, etc.

The Pennsylvania State Police has a program to help keep Troopers in shape. Also, all Troopers must keep their weight proportioned to their height and uniforms must be clean and pressed daily. Our hats must be neat, cleaned and blocked appropriately and we are always open to random inspections of uniforms, appearance and even the cruisers are subject to inspection for neatness and cleanliness. The utility belt and firearms are included in the equipment being checked for cleanliness.

Nice to see you, 911.

Back in the 80s I worked for a program wherein pat of my job was going to various State departments giving presentations. Every couple months supervisor would meet with training staff and assignments as to where each person would go on what date, etc. would be discussed. I always raised my hand eagerly and said “I’ll go to OSP (Ohio State Patrol)”. ;)
