Men try to steal ATM machine

They get them quite often here, but instead of
using a car, they use a "Backhoe", it is easier if
you tear the building away from the free standing
ATM, The backhoe comes in handy for dragging it
outside also and to lift it on to a trailer.

I read about an ATM maintenance man who was doing stuff inside the ATM and the door shut on him and locked him in. I forget all the details, I think it was during non-banking hours, so he waited until a customer came and handed him a note from inside the machine. It would have been funny if it wasn't so stressful to him, what if nobody used that ATM for a whole weekend, especially if he was claustrophobic like me. :sick:
 
Back in the days when I was working, I was the second Vice President of the union... and I got called... Make the story short, But one of our maintenance guys tried to steal a machine using a school board van, they just followed him back to one of the schools... And then he wanted me to fight to keep his benefits and job while he was in jail... Think he was short a few brain cells...
