An old friend of mine sent me an email ranting about how lucky men are as opposed to women. She said that most men look even better when they age as opposed to women. She said if Reincarnation is real she would want to come back as a man.I laughed when I read her email and I hope there is no such thing as reincarnation, but if there is I still would want to come back as a woman. I think men have hard lives, and go through a lot .Women do too,but I think men have it harder in a lot of ways. Then she sent me 2 pictures. I have to admit I think men do look good even as they age,but they deserve it for all they endured for their families and the country.

lol - sadly for us fellas, we ain't all like George Clooney. True story - when I renewed my passport at age 50, they sent it to me along with the old, expired one from 10 years earlier. The difference was staggering, and I was depressed for days.

You don't have to look like George Clooney to be handsome. For some reason as a man gets older he looks better. I saw a lot of pictures of actors from when they were young and when they aged and most of them looked much better when they aged.

You know why I think they look better as they age , than many women?. .. because by shaving every day they exfoliate their skin.. and therefore keep it young looking ...you know why we women might not look as good as them as we age...?...because we've had to push human beings the size of bowling balls out of our bodies (regardless of how small or large we are, , ..and bleed every month for 40 years., then go through a huge hormonal change in our middle age again,... .. ...if we still look distinguished after that, then we deserve all of it :D

The photos of the woman - - is that Donna Mills? - - seem selected to intentionally make her look terrific on the left and half dead on the right. On the left she is dressed up, looks like she spent two or three hours with the hair dresser and makeup artist, and is somewhere with decent lighting. On the left she's not dressed up, doesn't have her hair done, appears to have no makeup on at all, and is in a car with no lighting.

I'm sure it's Linda Evans.... :)

Men have always been perceived as better looking old. Most women prefer to classify them as looking tough & rugged. Plus they aren’t expected to wear make up so there isn’t such a huge difference later on in life.
With the first picture of Linda Evans, her hair is perfectly coiffured with complete makeup and probably false eyelashes. Female stars were expected to highlight their features for the camera. The other picture her hair isn’t coiffured, she barely has any make up on and probably wasn’t expecting that picture to be taken whereas George Clooney has his hair perfectly combed and it looks like a planned portrait so this is hardly a fair comparison.

I would guess that in the George Clooney photo, he's wearing makeup and the photo itself has been airbrushed within an inch of its life. One of the tricks of the trade -- they have to look good, and to appeal to the public.

Hate to say ... it's not all natural. ;) But, yes, he looks great.

Yeahhhh. It’s a planned portrait. He probably has foundation and eye liner on.

Now check out these ‘older’ women.
I don’t think men age better.
Women age like fine wine.

Well, after all that and once the hormones change, some of us do get to shave our faces every day. 😉🤣

Some people are fortunate enough to inherit good genes.

I think if we were to see Hollywood actors up close, and without makeup, they would look as plain as the rest of us.
Maybe. I always keep in mind that many of these people have personal trainers, get plastic surgery and have the best skin care products and eat the best foods but I agree that genetics plays a huge part. My parents gave me good genes, no doubt.
