I retired from USAir at age of 49. Went back to corporate Aviation after 9/11. Flying now out of Opa Locka. Could not be happier.Welcome to my new world. Former Senior Captain (now retired} @major airline. Maybe we can chat sometime. There are a few other pilots onboard here.

I've enjoyed my vacations there. So much to do and see all around the area.
I won a trip for two to anywhere in the country some years back - I chose Miami. It was great, and my last plane flight too.

Flew for Air Wisconsin before being recruited by United, domestic only. Also flew Corporate Aviation after retirement. Just not the same. I would like to have continued flying commercial, but the FAA says otherwise. You retired before American merged with US Air?I retired from USAir at age of 49.
