Michael Strahan, Former NFL Star Turned GMA Host Goes Into Space

I first saw Michael on a Live With Kelly segment during the time the show was looking for a permanent co-host. I had no idea who he was but before the show was over, I thought...I want her to choose him, which she (they) did. I'd seen others "try out" for the spot but there was something about him. Later he moved on to Good Morning America as a co-anchor. For the last few days, GMA has been videoing parts of his astronaut training and the lift off is (or was) today. The other astronauts are the late astronaut Alan Sheppard's daughter, a father and son and two others I don't know. I pray they will land safely (or have landed safely). They will be aboard the Blue Origin's New Shepard. You'll remember that William Shatner and others took the Blue Origin flight in October.

Yes, I didn't find out it was postponed until yesterday afternoon. I don't have cable and stream GMA on Hulu+. The current day's segments are not available until around 4 p.m. Re: Michael. To each her own.
