Michigan, Illinois Set To Usher In Recreational Pot Sales

At last University of Michigan will have a good reason for losing football games to Ohio State. I went to Southern Illinois University from 1970 -1972 and all drugs were legal there back then or it sure seemed that way!!
 
I just love it when some get all excited over how we saintly souls will, now, be led into hell, by the wicked weed. .We are making the illegal trade in marijuana legal. In most states the illegal marijuana distribution dwarfs the efforts of the state. The states will have to catch up. I've heard that in states where it has been legalized, you get the best and cheapest weed from the underground supply chain. I believe drug use is part of the human experience. Can drug use be dangerous and even lethal? Yes. But I don't believe a "law" is going to stop some from experimenting, and getting caught up in the effects of drug use. By making criminals of illegal users, it only adds another layer to the devastation of drug use.

I can see where that would be a problem. Here it's always been a reference to a "package store'. A place (in some states) where just about all forms of liquor can be sold legally. These stores are either legally licensed or operated by the states themselves.
