Michigan man builds 'poop wall’ after dispute with neighbor: Report

Out in the country... On his private property... The odor could probably be detected by neighbors, depending on the wind direction. It's a farm!! It's agricultural area! What difference would it be if he just spread the manure on his land, as fertilizer, and neighbors smelled that? As long as there is no runoff into adjoining lakes or streams, don't see how that would violate any environmental regulations.
The anaerobic bacteria in the manure will soon die off in the areas exposed to oxygenated air and the exterior lining of the "wall" will begin to shield the odor. Now... if the neighbors give him any more trouble... all he has to do is open it up and let the fermenting odors waft through the warm Spring breezes............ :>)
