Microwaving Brussels Sprouts

Thanks, Deb

I'll give your new method a try.

I also want to try shredding them and sauteing them in butter/olive oil for a few minutes.

So far I've found that I like them best tossed in oil and roasted in a hot oven until the outer leaves begin to char a little bit.
If the time ever comes where you crave something different, try them with fresh squeezed lemon juice and dill.

Oh my... that's all I can say. :)

I steam them to just when they begin to soften. Next, I crumble bacon (which I cook in the oven), dice up garlic and take a flat baking tin or better yet a very shallow oven proof baking dish, pour virgin olive oil in it, throw the sprouts, bacon and garlic in it and coat them with the oil. Roast until fork tender. Delicious. Sounds more complicated than it is.
