Might Germany Leave the EU?

I find it amazing that people will go to effort to discredit messengers. It seems to be a gender-based thing to cower against diverse opinion and cling to their chosen authority.

It makes discussion impractical. I've been watching psychologists in conversations discussing the damage this causes in our rapidly declining schools from the bottom to graduate university programs.

No value in posting links, people here already reject information out of hand if it might counter their cherished beliefs about reality. Instead they want us to post summaries and opinions since those are easier to attack, sniff at, and discount.
You are hilarious. Everything you say is entirely predictable. And you know, everything you're accusing all of us of, we're thinking exactly the same thing about you. Interestingly, you seem to hang your hat on what the minority propose instead of looking at the consensus of opinions. Well, some folks are just born contrarians.

I don't recall any country except the authoritarian type countries like Russia, where the rights to freedom of speech have been taken away .....
An entirely predictable thing to say. But then you can be forgiven for being authoritarianly restricted to MSM sources of information and lack of both funds and inquisitiveness due to fear-mongering indoctrination and paywalls. And then, of course, there are the folks who are just born contrarians in the face of objective opinion, justification, and clarification❓

Inept, you're right. France did not become a member of BRICS.
I may have misspoke in saying they 'joined the BRICS' nations, but they have embarked on greater trade relations with China and that's apparently, a notable change and is an irritant to 'some'. France Adapts to an Era of Strategic Competition With China | Ifri

From the link:
.............Managing global challenges such as climate change or biodiversity also require an invested participation from China, as the largest emitter of greenhouse gasses today, but also a key producer of technologies that drive the energy transition.

France has thus made concerted efforts to maintain regular, high-level dialogue and pursue a degree of constructive engagement with Beijing, while explicitly tying French interests into those of the EU. At the same time, France’s insistence on dialogue with China...........................

These EU type alliances actually make things harder because those countries wind up trying to appease them and not their local constituents. The needs and priorities in the different countries and areas vary too much to sustain one governing body.

The EU should just be a facilitator of very specific treaties, pacts, deals etc. That's it.

Had frogs machine guns, storks would not mess with them.

People are getting restless about austerity and this Winter things will get dark and cold.

A political party tarred "right wing" by the establishment is growing in popularity and the domestic secret police have been deployed to suppress it. Infiltration, incitement... the playbook seems all too familiar.

Tarred? Are they afraid of being called what they are, extreme right wingers? Why is that? Couldn't be because of the history of Germany, could it? You're talking about a nation that substitutes green for red when it comes to blood in video games. Extreme right wing views are in vogue. Look no further than the US elections, what's going on in France, and Austria.

The pendulum swings, as it will eventually swing back.

Could Germany leave the EU? I don't think so.

"Right wing" is hate speech directed at anyone outside the extreme far left, clearly a euphemism for the word they want to call everyone outside their small minority.

The US election result was very centrist, all you have to do is look at the demographics of the "official" vote. Forget the exit polling, which shows an even greater victory even more diverse.
