Find the irony in life.
Irony occurs when what actually happens turns out to be completely different from the expected outcome. In writing or speaking, irony involves using words so the intended meaning is the opposite of the literal meaning.
Maybe true or fictional
A classroom bully picked on fat or overweight kids. Later in life, he was prescribed medication that causes weight gain.
Revenge of the nerds is an example of irony.
In Christianity one must have faith for sin to exist. By the same token, it is through faith sin is forgiven.
The US government waged the war on drugs claiming marijuana was harmful and a gateway to harder drug use. Yet prior to the war on drugs government encouraged the use of tobacco products in every type of media available even though tobacco was proven harmful for human consumption. By the year 2024 many US states legalized marijuana for health benefits and leisure consumption. The irony of this is big brother doesn't support anything including the welfare of its citizens unless there is a profit to be gained.
