Missing Cat

Sorry to hear of your cat. But there still may be hope as it is not uncommon for a cat to return after a week or two. We have outside cats in our rural setting and have lost a few. In one case I noted seeing both our cat and a coyote on my game camera way out back shortly before it went missing. We have found that if we feed the cats twice a day (especially in the evening) they stay close to home and have not lost a cat for about 3 or 4 years now. Our cats love being outside and they have a heated accessible shed for winter months. And they are ā€œfixedā€ which also cuts down on wandering. And they kill a lot of mice so they are ā€œworking animalsā€ of sorts. And they still love getting our attention.

He was throwing up a bit before he disappeared, also a Coyote is roaming around. I’ll hold out hope but…..
Yeesh. Yeah, he's probably a gonner. Sorry to say.

Years ago, (me and) the kids had this cute little part-German Spitz that we had to rehome when we moved to a no pets house. A nice lady took "Teena" to live with her at her awesome mini-goat ranch - plenty of space, plenty of goat-friends, and within a week we learned she also had plenty of coyotes. (RIP, Teena; cute but not the greatest goat-guardian)
