Missing things..

What do I miss? Talking to people - and I don't mean by texts. email, or even this site. Talking involves the mouth. I am one of those people who would talk to folks in an elevator or waiting in line or in a store aisle, even if it was just a simple greeting. Then, it was easy to see if the person was receptive to an exchange of words - hello, good morning, have a good day, can you believe this weather, etc. I miss brief social interactions with spoken words. I fear that I will forget how to speak. To compensate, I'm talking more to my birds, my plants, and myself!

I miss being at the cricket on a warm sunny day.Today is a warm sunny day.And I should have been at the cricket, with friends, for seven hours enjoying the cricket, conversation and a pint or two.
Instead I’m at home alone and the highlight of the coming week will be a fleeting visit to Poundland.
Now can I get Taiwanese TV for some baseball I wonder?

I'm the same, only with me it'd be going out to the local baseball fields and watching some softball.

Now what I miss: Going to the senior center, having conversation and exercising with my new friends. Going to our oceanfront timeshare in Atlantic City, taking in Karaoke night and walking the boardwalk daily. I also miss taking the train to the waterfront park and going to my son's House music parties at the club where he and his mentee deejay. I'm known for staying on the dance floor practically all night enjoying dancing with him (on his break), his House Head friends and fans. I had started back going to hear live music. I miss that too.
