I saw a large scale
Japanese Garden when I visited Cowra, and fell in love with it. I wanted to know more, and bought a few books on the subject, and found that there was so much involved in the art of such gardens.
The person who originally wanted the garden had to relocate, and the landscaping never got started. So, not having a place nor land to create my own, I settled for a mini zen sand garden in my spare room _ my meditation, room at the time. . .

Here is a famous zen sand garden that shows a man and a horse wading through the water. The figures are only seen at one line of sight, where some of the rocks align up.
