Monogamous Lizards - Meet the Shinglebacks

Doesn't stop me from wanting to visit Australia. Makes it even more interesting. :)
 

They may look ugly but they are no threat to anyone. As Falcon says, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in their case, the holder.
Where I live these lizards are pretty rare. We have their less lumpy cousins, the blue tongue lizards. I would love some in my backyard but even if one does appear from time to time they don't take up residence. You need a licence to keep reptiles but they can come and live with you if the environment is suitable.
