seems to be a burning topic at the moment? Just listen to oz news today and there was a discussion on this very topic. China apparently is rushing madly to develop its own nuclear arsenal [friendly or foe?] who knows. Britain has none but France does have a small one - wonder why? maybe just domestic friendly? North Korea has a smallish one that sometimes does a test run. Iran still has one - just!! etc etc - Nuclear of course can be used peacefully to our benefit but also against us to our sorrow -
I don't like the idea of living in a "nuclear world" with no international controls. there may be more ?? the increase in nuclear arsenals for war seems horrifying - but it would fit one description of humans finally obliterating themselves as a species with just a few cave-persons groups alive who may have nuclear sicknesses?? urghh!!
