More Activity On Dakoka Street

Drifter, do you know the types of all the birds? I am not too knowledgeable when it comes to our avian friends, but I do love seeing pretty birds. I have never in all my 87 years ever seen a live humming bird. I am fascinated by them.

Hi, good to see you here. No I don't know many names. A few years ago I bought a book, "Birds of Oklahoma" because i was seeingbirds I didn't think I'd ever seen before. I have a couple of books and still have to look some of them up. Birding and bird watching is a long term endeavor I'm thinking.

We put out HB feeders for several years. One grey humming bird showed up over and over but never tarried long.sometime would not sample our sugar water. So, I don’t put a feeder for them
any more. How are you getting on now a days?
