Look out, it could come your way soon.

The Royal Mail here in the UK is trialing a "Scheme", (best name for it),
to target people with "Junk Mail", if you look at something on line, they
will inform the retailer that you are interested and a mail shot will come
your way, possibly with an offer in it.

If it happens and works here, it will roll out everywhere I think.

Time to think about blocking cookies!

I have blocked cookies for quite some time now, a fact which brings wrath from my wife: she plays various little games on-line. My normally-viewed sites are specifically "allowed", but no "3rd. person" are at all. Use of proxy servers has failed to prevent invasion of my computer by others. Immediate deletion of Temporary Internet Files after use is helpful. imp

how it works, the version I downloaded is for Firefox
version 5 though.

I have been running the Ghostery for a couple
of weeks now and just let it stop everything,
I always thought the a site only put one cookie
into a PC when you visited, not 7 or 8 as in some
cases.
Only once have I let anything past it.

A very good good little program, thank you once again.
