More Madness: senior women are pawns?

I apologize for the bold print, I am having computer problems

I recently witnessed a woman over forty intrude on a relationship between two over sixty people. (male, female relationship) The senior female met the male at the same time as the forty year old. The forty year old pretended to not be interested until she listened to how the male was wining, and entertaining the sixty female. Next thing we know the forty female is bragging about being wined, dined and entertained by the sixty male. So, some things never change do they?

And the answer is no, I was not the sixty female but any senior could be so could a sixty male. The young watch and prey? (lifetime movies)

Why would a 60ish woman want a 60ish man who'd rather have 20-year-younger arm candy than someone he could relate to? No thanks. Maybe he's be looking for decoration and a nurse with a purse.

And a 40ish woman looking for a 60ish man? Actively looking for someone 20 years older? Because she's looking for a meal ticket or wants to prove to herself that she's still got it.

Not that I believe that there aren't plenty of solid May-December relationships out there, but to actively and knowingly pursue someone with that much of an age difference? Thanks, but no.

Maybe so, but neither is a prize. Sounds to me like they deserve each other. The younger woman? It's like she's saying neener neener neener to the older woman. Had I been the older woman? I'd have left without so much as an "excuse me."

Its not very clear to me what actually happened. If the 60 year old man wants to date the 40 year old lady, he is free to do so, since he's not married. The 60 year old lady should know the score about men preferring younger ladies anyway. That's life.
