Here in Canada Palmolive soap was made by Lever Brothers in their Toronto plant, along with Sunlight laundry soap, and Javex chlorine bleach. We use Palmolive liquid dish detergent for our dishes in the sink. JIM.

Nice to hear that they're still doing a great business. Another memorable fragrance was from Irish Spring soaps. But my personal favorite, and what I use, is Yardley English Lavender. Never get tired of the aroma.

My grandma had one of those. You had to hand crank it up (in the back of the picture), and it would play for several minutes before you had to crank is some more. Good exercise!..
