Going back a little.

Quick story about Eartha Kit. She was performing in a little gay bar in the Tampa Bay area in the 80's. She had a big song in the clubs at that time but immediately told us all she would not be singing it. My friend was a huge fan. He bought a bottle of champagne to be delivered to her on stage. When it was delivered, she turned her nose up to it and said she would never drink such "trash". My friend was devastated. Despite her contributions to society, that is how I will forever remember her.

Since I watch old movies from the 30's and 40's all the time I'm used to seeing them in their prime and although they certainly were beautiful they were never quite as flawless as these AI pictures. Cute how they all have halos, .

@seadoug That's so sad about Eartha Kit, she was my jazz-fan brother's favorite. That sort of thing ruins my admiration of anyone, no matter how talented they might be.
