Most beautiful actresses of the 1960s... then vs. now

Attached photo is a still from the video. She was so pretty, but didn't age well. Don't know when the image on the right was taken, but she passed away at age 43.

For me, Natalie Wood was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood, if not the whole world.

I had a huge crush on Ali MacGraw, too. The attraction was purely physical; she was not a very skilled actress. But she did age well.

Yes, I was also a big Natalie Wood fan, and posted a favorite picture of her here last November. That's why I was surprised when seeing the video.

Ali MacGraw was already 30 when "Love Story" was filmed, and the years that followed were good to her. In 1991, People magazine selected MacGraw as one of its "50 Most Beautiful People" in the World
 
As I said before in the 1950's my crush was Annette Funicello on the Mickey Mouse Club. In the 60's it was Dianna Rigg as Mrs Peel on the Avengers. I've always favored brunettes over blondes.

I could name 100 actresses more beautiful than Ali Macgraw.
 
If I had to name who I thought was the most beautiful woman ever I'd have to go with Madchen Amick. I first saw her in the 1993 movie "Dream Lover" with James Spader. Now there were two beautiful people.


 
Unless it was intentional, the video confused Catwoman actresses Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether with their present-day likenesses.

As of 2026, Lee Meriwether is 90 and Julie Newmar is 92.
 
I too enjoyed that Seadoug. I just wish they wouldn't all get work done. I like to enjoy watching them age with the rest of us. I often feel we get robbed of seeing the last part of their life cycles when they get work done.

Me too, but people have different concepts of beauty. You may have noticed that I didn't express a personal opinion of her looks. I only mentioned the fact that she was 30 when "Love Story" was filmed (most people guessed her to be younger) and then I mentioned the compliment People Magazine wrote about her 21 years later.
