Most Evil Corporation on Earth Strikes Again

Apple are invulnerable. People don't care they used slave labor to make their phones, that in some factories they had to put up suicide nets, and that they charge far too much for what they offer. Apple became a status symbol, and so get forgiven anything they do.
Don’t ya sort of think the Chinese are also behind it. After all they haven’t got a big enough labor force now. begging babes to get knocked up all around the side streets.

an I was led to believe robotic factories made chips now. but you know who makes the robots, smart lil kids?

i loves my military spec flip phone, I could text. It hooked on my belt, pants or golf cart. That’s all I need one for, just texts. The rest is b.s. things were better then. Cars had 4 bBl’s and Disc brakes without tire pressure monitors. Transmissions actually shifted without solenoids, and
Windows were cranked and slid by hand. So good those days with the side vents and no AC.
I got better mileage than the trucks do now. Sure there weren’t millions of trucks on the road then. Farmers had gear binders.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion.
I can think of many more evil institutions, including corporate, governments, and so called public service organizations.

Evil institutes? we are forbidden to discuss politics🤑

It seems like Apple and Microsoft, and maybe Google, are always suing, getting sued, sometimes by each other, and then being investigated by the government. Ahh, the problems of great wealth.

I don't think 5G is worth a crap out of town in the Rural without a WIFI internet Server.
2 / 4 G LTE was better, but now also is half what it was. Worser is where 5 G seems it's at.
Noticed that happening with 16.3 and later updates. 17.6 now and still crapped.

I am rural, within 1 mile of 2 towers in my sightline and sometimes its 5 minutes its 1 bar or none
before 2 bars come on the phone or iPad. Of course they have not added for the needs of the
many on the provider's stuff. 5 g is total crap.

basically people who upload content to Youtube.. ( legalised begging ).... expecting people to send them money...
Isn't it more like people who put in a lot of time doing research and writing and then speaking great content, asking to be reimbursed for the hours they put in providing a lot of great information? And while they ask you to pay for their time, they usually also provide free excerpts or the beginning half maybe of their show on Youtube or other streaming agents like Zeteo. So it's not begging. When people beg, they give nothing in return except maybe some satisfaction that you were a good person.

Most everything is a long jawing session now days.
If Ignorance is bliss then silence is golden bliss not rain.
DJ’s can’t shut up between songs they play.
Everyone is the WolfMan now, content doesn’t apply.
Even the time before the ball is ready to be snapped seems stretched.
Jawing seems to be the next sport. Endlessly !

Considering that newspapers and television news is too often short on information, it becomes important to get 'news' of what's going on in the world, somewhere. And frequently, I've seen these content creators coming up with the latest events and misadventures of our political and business world, and then seeing it days later on our mainstream media as they play catch up. And here's another thing, those content creators aren't constrained by a boss telling them what to talk about.

And all that 'jawing' is often the source of information that we need in order to make some of our important decisions. Who we'll vote for, what we should or shouldn't support....talk is important.

Except it's not a status symbol so much as it started out as frequently a better product. We started using Apple computers way back when and the primary reason was that they didn't get hit with virus's nearly as often as the Mac machines did. And our phones are iPhones because they matched up easily to our computers for the photography aspect.

China is a complex animal. They wanted/needed foreign investment, and that was provided by the likes of Apple. Poverty in China is high, and it was especially high when Apple moved there. The entire economy went through a transformation. The Chinese government has had to manage incredible growth, which is only now hitting significant roadblocks. Foreign investment is leaving and movie to other parts of Asia. Honestly, it's impossible to go through what is happening there in a post that anyone would read due to length.

China, as it turns out, is big on manufacturing, but not great at research. They're not great at making chips, for example. That could all change, of course. The economy there is in dire straits right now. A lot of it is political.

Yeah, I disagree. Apple never made significant inroads on the corporate level, bar a couple industries. There were fewer viruses because there were fewer Macs. I won't argue about "better product", because we could go around and around in circles. My view is that it isn't a better product. They achieved what they did, largely, by being highly restrictive and keeping everything within the eco-structure. Which also allowed them to overcharge.

I don't own Apple because they offer nothing I don't already have - but let's not get into a Apple v. Microsoft discussion, it's been done a lot before!

My belief is that it's not corporations at the end of the day. It's insufficiently regulated rampant capitalism that's the problem. The principles of capitalism are sound, but we're allowed avarice and greed take it over like a disease, and we simply complain about the symptoms.
