Dear God , what Have I just read... what evil human beings are amongst us now.?. this is the second one this week I've read about where parents have killed their own children... but this is just beyond any kind of sanity... :mad::mad:If ever I wished we had the death penalty... or even life meaning life as it does in the USA..I wish the very worst sentence on these 2 when they're found guilty......

There is NO punishment severe enough for parents, or anyone, who kills a small child.

In a similar vein, there have been reports, in recent days, about 4 young kids left alone for months....one of them dying almost a year ago. The police have located the parents, and have filed murder, etc., charges....but, after abandoning these kids for a year????

In the US these folks would probably not last long in jail, a short life sentence. The other inmates call it "taking out the trash" or something like that. Child molesters and child murderers have pretty shot life expectancy. Might be the same in the UK.

people like to say this all the time, but in reality I can't remember a case of a single high profile child murderer or molester who has been imprisoned here and been taken out by other prisoners. Very often instead they're housed in a part of the prison surrounded by cells holding their own ilk, and on release they're given a new identity, paid for by the taxpayer...

I know it does happen here, but not sure how consistently. Maybe partly truth and partly urban myth. I suspect at least some get protection in prison. Actually I do not like the idea of violence in prisons at all, further reduces any chance of rehabilitation, and seems to me to just violate human rights. However there are some cases where exceptions do feel better...

I have zero tolerance for those who abuse or kill children or animals. No excuse for it. Those people are scum and deserve to be held accountable for their actions. Rest in peace to all who have died from horrible crimes like this. :(

Maybe it's terrible to say but I ain't mad at anyone who enacts their own punishment on child molesters and child murderers who are in prison. In fact, it's known that they can expect to be attacked once their crimes are revealed inside.
