Mourning Dove Cooing

There must be a population of these doves near my house. At first I didn't mind their cooing, but it is becoming incessant during daylight hours. Probably more obvious because I have the windows up now. I like animals in general, but this is starting to get annoying.

I believe you can dispatch them here. I don’t but that noise! Ugh!

I don't want to kill them, I'm just letting off steam. I guess it's much better than a neighbor playing loud heavy metal music.

The guy next door has a dozen bird feeders in his front yard and that attracts a lot of birds. Maybe they're mess-enger pigeons. I know they make a mess in my driveway.

I love the sound of mourning doves. We have a bazillion here. I love hearing the owls at night, too. There are some that live in the conservation area behind my house and they carry on all night.

just be glad you don't live in my house then.. all the doves, and wood pigeons live in my trees...they coo loudly all day..if they're not snoring... I don't mind them at all... I do mind the noisy magpies...
