To get in the spirit of possible breakout of a third world war, how about some movies about Russia or Ukraine?

Granted, they're about the USSR but close enough...

I read Gorky Park by Martin Cruz Smith, very well written. The movie was good too.

The Hunt for Red October; IIRC, Sean Connery played a Ukrainian in the movie.

You guys are a lot thicker skinned than me. Have two Ukrainian friends. Not happy at all right now. I don't think I could watch a movie about that region right now.


But, have seen most of the movies you guys recommended. All good ones, for sure.

I also liked Moscow on the Hudson, with Robin Williams....
