Ideally you're supposed to keep cats indoors or use breakaway cat collars. Some of our cats insist on being out during the day. To differentiate them from the ferals, all the cats that go out are tagged. Dog collars work better for us because they stay on. Sometimes...Levon still manages to wiggle out of his.

Mr. Foote managed to lose his yet again. So I re-purposed one of Sophie's. Sophie has always been long and lean. But when you realize she is a sixty pound pup and her collar fits Foote perfectly. That means Foote is a darn big boy...I'm guessing twenty five pounds? But he's proud;)

That is one big cat. I doubt anything is going to mess with him while he is out.

What's funny though is that he's the gentle giant. He plays with Callie and even grooms him sometimes. But the other cats regularly push him around. Maybe in his heart he's a dog?

Possibly Maine Coon in there, he's also a kitten of PA farm cats...barn cats can get super sized for some reason...tasty rats perhaps.
