Mr. Sandman

I take loads of ionic magnesium, ionic zinc and B complex, other antioxidants and vitamins. I used to have insomnia. Now, when I lose sleep, it is intentional because I have much more energy. I only need a few hours at a time. Six hours is my usual maximum. Check with your doctor, he/she may have advice on other dietary means that will help. I gave up sleep aids years ago. Sometimes, I will take Willow bark or Valerian for pain which is rare. For sleep, I will take California poppy, passionflower, Ghost Pipe, and/or wild lettuce. I always use them in tincture form. Use caution with some of these and do not drive until you are certain how they will affect you if you decide to try any. 🄰
Check with a physician or properly trained profession before using any of the herbals or vitamins here. Everyone is different, so be sure you heed this warning. :)

I would NOT check with doctor quacks though as they're adverse to such remedies.

I have problems with that Sandman guy. At 8PM, if I sit in my recliner, it's over. I'm out till 9;30. And I can barely keep my eyes open till 11:30, my bedtime. At exactly 11:30, I am so awake, and raring to go. I can't get any more alive and alert...... at my bedtime!!!!! It's obvious that Sandman guy is falling down on the job.
