I've been taking 1 tsp of MSM crystals in 8 oz water two times daily for years. I can feel when it wears off as body starts to ache more...so I know it's time. Some take it three times daily. Some take capsules but I feel it works best in powder/crystal form for good benefit.

Some say they can't take sulphur products and we're not talking sulfa as in the drugs...but this is sulphur. And some links will say no conclusive proof. This is true for everything...conclusive changes all the time.

The proof is in the pudding, the taker. So in case others are interested here is one link and there are many,

I don't know about taking the supplements you posted...especially at the prices quoted on that web site.....However, I have a bit of arthritis, and even a touch of sciatica in my left leg/hip, and I take a daily Glucosamine Chondroitin with MSM...Rexall brand from Dollar General, and 60 capsules are only about $6. That seems to work pretty good and allows me to do a bunch of serious outdoor work without excessive pain.

When my arthritis starts acting up this is the supplement I take also. It has the MSN in it. MSM is also good to take for hair loss but I don’t take it. These days I focus more on eating better and exercising. For me it works better than most supplements but I do still take some.

Supplements can be a good thing, IF they are used as an "Aid" for a proper habit of good diet and exercise...and NOT as an Answer to ailments. I don't take any prescription drugs, but I have taken a daily multivitamin, and a daily Lutein pill, and Fish oil capsule(per my eye doctors recommendation), for years, and that seems to help, and at a minimal expense. Now with this bit of arthritis, I have added the Glu/MSM to my routine, and hopefully that will help prevent any need for hip surgery, etc., in the future.
The "supplement" industry is full of misleading info, and even scams, so a person needs to approach them with caution, and do some research. There have been several news report about some shady business practices being used by Herbalife, for example.

Use to take Glucosamine, but it ended up raising my bg too high, and as a Diabetic II, I definitely don't want that. Stopped it. Now, wife and I take one Turmeric each AM and also have ibuprofen handy as well as Topricin Pain Relief Cream and 1000mg CBD Salve. I also have a VA prescription of 50mg Tramadol that I can take every-other day or so, however, only one tablet a day.

My "nagging/achy" arthritis pain is in both shoulders that came from previous rotator cuff surgeries. From what I've read, really low altitude, and barometric pressure has a lot to do with my pain...…...of which are both here where we live, not where we are moving to though.

I work on eating quality food as well but with aging and wear and tear, so so much cannot be reversed so I control and I do take nutritional supplements. It all depends on where everyone is with their issues and pain. We are all different. When I was 60 I was not near what I am today at 80, and having been cut up with hip replacement, that FOR ME has taken a huge toll on my body and being. One has no idea until it's all said and done and then TOO LATE....can't undo.

I also use Topricin and 500mg CBD ointment salve to which I often add some Essential Oil pain drops for extra boost.

And I choose a higher quality supplement than those in the dollar stores which I equate to coming from china...but what do I know.... We get what we pay for as they have been saying.

I've been using an MSM supplement regularly for years, even before I retired for lower back pain. I think it helps a lot with inflammation which is one of the causes of pain, also "helps maintain structural integrity of joints & connective tissue".

I did a lot of heavy lifting and bending at work, and to this day I find myself in the same situation with doing housework, yard work, caring for the dog, and doing other chores around the house. For me it's more of a preventative too, some other supplements I use also help with inflammation and pain, for example Turmeric. This is what's on my shelf now (product of Canada), I usually buy a combo.
