My husband has brought home A LOT of red delicious apples from my MIL's tree. He has processed and frozen a lot of them but I'm looking for some easy recipes to use some of them fresh. Any suggestions?
 

Melt some caramel. Slice the apples, dip in fresh lemon juice to prevent browning as well as flavor, serve with warmed caramel sauce.

Add thick slices to a pork roast in the oven.

My mother used to bake them, after coring them and adding brown sugar where the core was. They were great with whipped cream or ice cream. I never made these myself.

I've heard of applesauce cake.
 

Oh those are cool RadishRose! When my granddaughter is a little older we'll do that!
I read you can put a can of sweetened condensed milk in the crock pot and turn it into caramel.
