Multi-quote

What I do is highlight just the part of the post that I want to quote. When I stop at the end of the highlighted section, a small black box shows with either Quote or Reply. If I just want to quote one person, just a sentence in their whole post, then I click Reply.

But when I want to multi-quote, I choose the parts of each person I want in my multi-quote, and at the end of highlighting the part I want to quote, I choose from the little black box popup Quote. I do that for each post.

When I go to post my reply, I click on Insert Messages (just below your reply box), a box shows with the ones I selected, then I click on Quote Messages. They all appear in my reply box for me, just the parts of the posts I wanted to reply to.

The explanation sounds much more involved than actually doing it, I always use that method to either quote a partial message or to multi quote.
 
I got it now, but I have like 10 I want to thank. The Quote option changes from + to - by clicking to add or remove quote. Click each message, then click on Reply on the last and lower right you have to click "insert quotes". Then you have to sort/remove the messages you don't want to include, and there's a bunch. This doesn't happen if I am sticking with my thread and not disappearing ;) I can thank folks as they reply, much easier or just put a message at the end. I like using all the bells and whistles so I get into these fixes, LOL!! I'm having a nice time being here though and thanks to all for sharing your "ways" of doing quotes ;)
