Murders in the Rue Morgue

I read Murders in the Rue Morgue as a short story. It was written by Edgar Allan Poe.

At the same time, I read The Squaw by Bram Stoker and The Fall of the House of Usher, another tale by Edgar Allan Poe. The story I liked best was The Tell Tale Heart, another of Poe's short stories.

I was introduced to The Tell Tale Heart at 12 years of age by a student English teacher. She also introduced us to The Ballad of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde. We lapped it all up and wanted more.
