Hello:
I have Muscle Spasm in the middle of my left leg/calf which occurs early in the morning, 6 :30 a.m to 7:00 a.m. The muscle spasm disturbs my waking time, since I get up from the bed around 8:00 a.m.

I've been on Methocarbamol 750 mg., 5 tabs before the bed. However, it do not stop Muscle Spasm completely.

Any of you have similar to same issue and share the tips and advices would be truly appreciated.

Thanks,

When I get similar spasms I use Magnesium oil, 2-3 pumps rub it in well, and it usually stops the spasm within a few minutes. Ya might give it a try.

I dunno what you mean by spasm? do you mean leg cramps? I get cramps real bad so I drink tonic water because it contains quinine, so I drink a glass of 8oz once a week.

Like Rgp, I use magnesium oil for leg or foot cramps and the cramp goes away within seconds for me. I also take a magnesium citrate supplement daily, which also supports and relaxed the muscles.

Tossing a fresh unwrapped bar of Ivory soap under the covers helps some folks.

When you feel a cramp coming on just rub your feet against the bar of soap and the cramp never really seems to take hold.

Straighten your leg and take hold of your toes...then bend them hard towards your body. That should ease the cramp.

The only thing that I found that works is heat.

If I put heat on the calf the spasm goes away.

I have a sock sort of affair that I sewed filled with grain that I heat up in the microwave. I think you can get those gel things.

They work.

When I have pain I look for instant relief. I can't wait for supplements to work.
