Music cassettes are coming Back !!

Radio cassette players were hot, cutting-edge technology in the 1980’s. I still have a few functional ones and even a boom box or two that also have cassette players. The bands that drive the pulleys inside are usually the first component to go, but often can be replaced if not routed too circuitously. The radios will continue to work almost indefinitely. Used cassette players and tapes can still be found on eBay, although many players are listed for “parts only.”

I like archaic technology as a link to my past! And if it’s good enough for Starlord, it’s good enough for me!
