Scientific.. fact:
In 2011, a team of scientific researchers concluded that ‘We Are The Champions’ was the catchiest song in the history of pop music.
Dr. Daniel Mullensiefen said of the study, ‘Every musical hit is reliant on maths, science, engineering and technology.
We’ve discovered that there’s a science behind the sing-along that can produce the elusive elixir of the perfect sing-along song.’

And the Winner =
The most Grammy awards won by a solo pop performer is 19, by Stevie Wonder.

I fought the Law:
In 1975, former Allman Brothers tour manager John Herring was sentenced to 75 years jail for drug trafficking.

Jimi Hendrix claimed ‘Purple Haze’ was inspired by a dream where he was walking under the sea.
In the dream, he said a purple haze surrounded him, engulfed him and got him lost, but in his dream his faith in Jesus saved him.

TAKEN OFF THE AIR :
After refusing to sign an oath that says they have never been members of the Communist party, the popular folk group The Weavers are removed from the line-up of NBC-TV's Jack Parr Show.

Long targeted by McCarthyism, group member Lee Hays stated, “we feel very strongly that no private business establishment such as NBC has the power or the right to require proof of any citizen’s patriotism.”

With their recordings were denied airplay, which curtailed their income from royalties.
Right-wing and anti-Communist groups protested at their performances and harassed promoters.
As a result, the group's economic viability diminished rapidly and in 1952 it disbanded.

After marrying Mick Jagger in 1971, his new bride Bianca, had left the reception early and went back to their room for a nap.

She was woken hours later to find Keith Moon abseiling through her sixth-floor window, naked except for a pair of novelty glasses whose eyeballs bounced around in front of him on springs, and a pair of women’s knickers on his head.

In 1991, Randy Jackson of The Jacksons was given a 30 day jail sentence by a Los Angeles court for violating a probation order.

In January 1991, Jackson was charged with battery for beating his wife Eliza Shaffy and their 7-month-old daughter Stevanna.
He pleaded no contest to the charge, and was placed on two years' probation and ordered to enroll in a domestic violence program,
-- However, he did not comply.
In November 1991, Jackson was arrested after Shaffy phoned the police to report that the beatings did not stop. He was sentenced to 30 days in a mental hospital, Pine Grove Hospital, in Canoga Park and ordered to serve the remainder of his probation and enroll in a year-long domestic violence rehabilitation program.

**********

Jackson filed for bankruptcy in 1996.
He was ordered to surrender his shares in Modern Records Inc.
In May 1998, an arrest warrant was issued when Jackson failed to turn over the stock.

In 2001, he pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud by failing to list all his vehicular assets
