Roger Daltrey and Keith Moon:

Daltrey beat up Keith Moon for giving illegal drugs to John Entwistle and Pete Townshend
- When Keith Moon supplied illegal drugs to two of his band mate, John Entwistle and Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey became quite angry.
He flushed the pills and also beat Moon up
  • So, his band mates expelled him from the band (..... for a while)
ALTHOUGH -

Daltrey didn't want anyone to replace Keith Moon
- While answering fans' questions on thewho.com, Pete Townshend revealed that he actually preferred playing with Keith Moon's replacement Kenney Jones above Moon himself.

Daltrey was vehemently opposed to naming anyone Moon's replacement, preferring to change drummers on a project-to-project basis.
After being out-voted by Townshend and Entwistle, he reluctantly approved Jones joining the band, yet openly criticized his drumming as being wrong for the Who
