Today, Dave and I provided a taxi service to ferry our granddaughter from her middle school to the high school. She will be traveling with her Color Guard team to the World Championship trials in Dayton Ohio. Who knew Color Guard did that? She says there will be teams from Canada and London? I know it will be a growth experience for her. Nevertheless I have concerns. Anyway, I had to give her my grandmotherly advice, which consisted of this: Travel in groups, because there is safety in numbers: Don‘t take any pills; don’t do stupid shit, and if there is any question as to whether it’s stupid shit, it probably is, so stop! Good advice, I think. I hope she has a blast.
