My arrowhead plant leaves are turning yellow and shriveling

It's been out on the back deck most of the summer. I brought it in 2 weeks ago and now half the leaves are turning yellow and shriveling. This is a photo of it after I cut off the dead foliage, so imagine what it was like before. Also a pic of the dead leaves in the trash.

Many plants will drop leaves when moved from outside to inside, kind of a shock, lack of light.....I've had this to happen to mine.
