My Black Bear Problem

Bear Removal Service:
.
A man in northern Minnesota woke up one morning to find a bear on his roof.
He looked in the Yellow Pages, and sure enough, there was an ad for "Up North Bear Removers."
He called the number listed and the bear remover said he'd be over within an hour.
The bear remover arrived, and got out of his van. He had a ladder, a baseball bat, a 12 gauge shotgun, and a mean looking, heavily scarred old pit bull. "What are you going to do.?" the homeowner asked.

"I'm going to put this ladder up against the roof, then I'm going to go up there, and knock the bear off the roof with this baseball bat. When the bear falls off the roof, the pit bull is trained to grab his testicles, and not let go. The bear will then be subdued enough for me to put him in the cage in the back of the van.

"He then handed the shotgun to the homeowner.

"What's the shotgun for?" the homeowner asked.

"If the bear knocks me off the roof, you shoot the dog."

Two men went bear hunting and while one stayed in the cabin the other went out looking for bears.
He soon found a huge bear and shot it but only wounded it.
The wounded and now enraged bear charged towards the man who dropped his rifle and started running towards the cabin as fast as he could.
He ran pretty fast but the bear was a little faster and was gaining on him.
Just as the hunter reach the open cabin door he tripped and fell flat.
Too close to stop the bear tripped over him and went rolling into the cabin.
The man jumped up and closed the door from the outside and yelled to his friend inside the cabin with the bear, "You skin that one while I go and get another one.

Now if we could also give weapons to the deer, then hunting might be a fair fight.

I believe the topic has come to an end as the bear is dead............ However......

2 older cubs have been sighted roaming around the school yard recently..
Their mother has been dropped and they are in search of food for the winter..
Here's hoping one of the toddlers won't be a meal for them......

Other than that, all is quiet for now...............

2 Moose were also spotted around our house but they won't be dropped till Moose hunting season comes next week.......

Steve, it looks like there's not much out there in the hinterland for you to do except get excited about killing the wildlife. Sad really, for them.
Seems like you are boasting about killing, now you want to kill the cubs I suppose. I think you might want to consider some therapy.

I grant no quarter to the trophy hunters and those motivated by the thrill or to prove how "macho" they are. Any coward can take a high powered rifle with it scope and while hiding in a concealed place snap out the life of a innocent animal. Also to suggest that garbage mess is justification in view of the many other options is laughable.

I have NO Intentions of killing the cubs..
If they survive the winter (and I think they will) they will most likely wander off deeper into the woods and live happily ever after unless they start going after the kids in the school yard...

We have way too many bears around the north but we only will kill them if they are a nuisance and for NO other reason.....
Moose, deer and other wild animals are for food which we eat..

Actually we are in full hunting season now and there are hundreds of American hunters that come up here to kill our animals.. Our lodges are full and our hunting camps are full as well but not with locals of course but hunters from the south (usa)...
The visitors just kill the animals but have NO interest to keep the meat.. They kill for the sport of it while we don't.. We keep every morsel of meat possible from every animal...

I spoke and I told you the way it is... Like it or not, this is what is going on up here and has been going on for the past 200 years if not more...
