I met him in 1986 at trade school, he had just graduated from high school. (I was a year earlier) I helped him get his gear for school and we’ve been friends ever since. Years later I find out he’s much older than he said, lol. “I lied” were his exact words. Getting sponsored and out of Cambodia was easier if you were under 18 so… Years later in the US his principal at his high school wanted him to stay another year to work on his English before he graduated. He would have been 25! Lol. Evidently he said “No, I want to graduate now!” Lol.
