My Cousin Keith David Is Getting A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame!

I recognized him right away! Keith is a wonderful actor with a fabulous voice. He's done it all—theater, film, and voice-overs—and done it extremely well.

Congratulations! It's well deserved and long overdue.

Oh wow. We think he's wonderful! Please tell him congratulations, will ya?

Unfortunately, I never met Keith. Being so busy, he was only able to attend one family reunion decades ago in Hartford, Conn. I couldn't attend because I was caring for my mom. That is where he met our cousin Kendra C. Johnson. Another cousin, who now has Keith on speed dial, urged her to tell him of her aspirations. His grandmother headed the New York chapter of our family reunion planning committee and we stayed in close contact over the years. According to her, he invited Kendra to come stay with him and his wife in Hollywood while she went on casting calls. She wound up getting work in Tyler Perry films.




We met and took pictures with his parents, who participated in our two day 2017 family reunion festivities. I'm following Keith on Facebook but have not had personal interaction with him (yet). I hope that someday, we will.
