My Facebook account has been frozen.

Be aware if you have more than one account, one of my two has been frozen pending investigation. This may have happened when I changed a phone number which may have been used on the other account, or they may have seen my post about how much money they make from scam adverts! It is not permissible to have more than one account, and you now have to prove who you are with a photo or video, and a driving licence.

I have now lost my account which was created to join a group which I moderated, and to have a page to help with IT. 'Facebook (Meta) has a strict "authentic name" policy and actively removes, suspends, or deletes accounts that are reported or detected to be using fake names, aliases, or non-representative names.' They delete billions of account per year. If you have anything on Facebook that you do not want to lose, download your account. They give no reason for deleting your account.

I was having a hard time because I had a few accounts and couldn't always login. I got frustrated and went off on them. They banned me for life. That was a few years ago and actually it's the best thing that ever happened.

I recently deleted my Fb account, due to being contacted by people I really didn't want to hear from. I know there is a "Privacy" setting, but, I wasn't using it much over the years I had it. So .. I don't miss it.

I had quite a few too back when we had a team page for that online war game. I kept getting messages to either
log in or delete I just deleted them so yes they definitely are cleaning up old dead accounts
