Hello Kombucha.
I'm assuming that you are rather shut in but there are always people on line to chat to.
I'm curious about your username. Kombucha ? Is it meaningful ?

My UN is the aboriginal word for a dingo, or native dog. I've used it as a youth leader name in the past and I just like it.

kombucha is a kind of health elixir, was very popular in my childhood in the former soviet union. Now it is getting more and more popular here in the USA.i have a bottle of kombucha with mango in my refrigerator right now .I think i will start making it myself, just need special starter, easy to buy in amazon.
Your username sounds very unusual,i like it very much.

I'm sorry to hear your husband is so ill. We are all in this together, during the good times and the bad....

This board is a wonderful place to come to when you need a smile and a listening ear.

I used Kombucha tea years ago, and really did feel better; slept better, had more energy, etc. At the time I got it from a local herbalist, but later on from this site, and this is one place I trusted for cleanliness and accurate fermenting:

A lot of information there. I hesitated to try the Kombucha at first, as it is a culture, and it looked weird, but once I got into it, had no problem with it. Some friends and I made it awhile, but got away from it when we moved.

I thought of kombucha when I saw your user name, but I wasn't sure it was the health drink. I love the taste of kombucha, but only have bought it in the health food stores of the brands GT and Synergy. I also like kombucha that comes with the chia seeds suspended in it. You can make it yourself, but I'm too lazy and rather have the convenience of store bought.

Homemade Kombucha
Making your own kombucha is a snap. The whole process takes less than an hour, and at the end, you have a whole gallon of your own tart, fizzy fermented drink to enjoy when ever you want, at a cost that is less than you would pay for one small bottle at a health food store.

Thx for answering how you came up with your screen name, Diwondrin, both clever and interesting!
