My grandson was just sent home from work with a high fever

there could be many reasons why he has a temp' it does make u worry over them ,he is young and fit generally
so he has a good start to anything ..let us know how it goes ,,

So sorry to hear this. It is such a frightening time. Working at Walmart makes him a front-line worker and vulnerable. I don't understand why they didn't test him for Covid-19 at the hospital. Hopefully, he will not have to return. My thoughts and best wishes to him and the family.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and good wishes. I talked to him briefly both yesterday and last night and just told him to sleep,sleep,sleep and drink,drink,drink. I truly hope it is just some other virus (obviously). I haven`t talked to him today,so don`t know if he`s feeling better or worse. I will check in with him later.

He just text me,said he feels a little better today. On and off headache and very sore throat. His gf`s mom is an RN so I asked if she thought he should get tested. I hope he does,then I can quit worrying. Or worry more,I guess....

He is better and went back to work on Sunday! I would have thought they would have wanted him to be tested or quarantined for 2 weeks,but apparently not. But I am so relieved he is better. Makes me wonder about the safety of shopping at Walmart though,if they are that lax about allowing sick employees back to work...

I just read in a news feed today that a Walmart had to shut down because several employees came down with the virus. I'm glad your grandson is better. May he stay safe and healthy.
